Vertigo anchors were selected to hang a ceiling in T2 terminal of new International Airport for the simplicity and reliability.

Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL), a consortium of GVK Industries Ltd. (GVK) and Airports Company South Africa (ACSA), were contracted to modernize the Mumbai International Airport. Permasteelisa, a subcontractor of Larsen & Toubro (L&T ECC division) who is the General Contractor of MIAL originally planned using a conventional style steel structure to hang false ceilings.

After reviewing with Powers engineers the load capacity, speed and ease of installation of Powers unique Rod Anchor system versus the traditional method, Permasteelisa choose “Vertigo” product to suspend the false ceiling.

In another part of the airport engineers were looking for high quality code approved anchors for structural steel anchorages and chose Powers PTB ETA7 M16 XL anchors in constructing the new Air Traffic Control Tower by JSW Severfield Structures Ltd. Powers India Engineers offered technical support during the design, installation and post installation phases of the project including on-site installation verification for both the ceiling and tower structures.
